Privacy Policy

Furioke is a karaoke and Japanese-lyrics study app operated by Magic Park Labs. This policy explains what data Furioke collects, how it is used and stored, and the choices you have. It applies to the Furioke website at furioke.com and the Furioke iOS and Android apps.

Google user data we access

Furioke offers “Sign in with Google” so you can create an account and sync your library across devices. When you choose to sign in with Google, Furioke requests only limited, non-sensitive scopes (openid, email, and profile) and accesses only this data from your Google Account:

• Your email address.
• Your basic profile information — name and profile picture.
• Your unique Google Account identifier, used to recognize you on return visits.

Furioke does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, YouTube account, or any other restricted or sensitive Google data. Google is not the only way in — you can sign in with Apple instead, which gives us only your name and email address, or the private relay address Apple issues if you choose Hide My Email. Using Furioke does require an account.

How we use Google user data

We use the Google data above solely to:

• Authenticate you and create or sign you into your Furioke account.
• Associate your saved songs and settings with your account so they sync across your devices.
• Display your name and profile picture inside the app and contact you about your account or support requests.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train, develop, or improve any generalized or AI/ML models.

How we store and share Google user data

Your account information is stored securely in our authentication and database provider, Supabase. Access is restricted so that each account can only read and write its own data.

We do not sell your Google user data or share it with third parties, except with infrastructure providers (such as Supabase) that process it on our behalf to operate Furioke, or where required by law. Furioke’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Other data we handle

When you are signed out, the songs you create stay in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device. When you request translation or furigana features, the relevant lyrics text is sent to the services that generate those results. With each such request we record when it came, what it cost, your plan, country, platform and app version, and the beginning of the text you sent — the words you looked up, the first lines of the lyrics — so we can see how the features are used and fix problems; that text is deleted after 30 days. If you subscribe to Furioke Plus, payment is processed by Stripe (web), Apple (iOS), or Google Play (Android); we store only the subscription status needed to grant access, never your full payment details. Wishes you send in the wish pool are read only by our team and reach others only after we have rewritten and approved them, marked with the flag of the country they were sent from. Comments you post on a wish that is on the list are public, shown with that flag, and translated for readers of other languages by an AI service. With a wish or comment we keep what you wrote, its language, that country as our network provider reads it from your connection (never your address), and our replies. Deleting your account deletes your votes, your comments and your wishes not on the list, and takes your words off those that are.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can revoke Furioke’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. To delete your Furioke account along with the associated Google profile data and library, choose Delete account in the settings menu, or email us at the address below and we will remove it.
